The Malachite Group and Hennessy Announce Landmark Multi Year Partnership

London, (30/04/2026) – The Malachite Group, founder of Afro Nation, Piano People and global leaders in live entertainment for African music, talent and the diaspora today announces a new three-year strategic partnership with Hennessy, the world’s largest and most popular cognac brand.

The partnership will see Hennessy play an integrated role across Afro Nation Portugal, including activation of the Hennessy Sky Terrace, a premium festival destination overlooking the main stage as well as content and pouring rights.

Afro Nation Portugal is the world’s biggest celebration of Afrobeats, Amapiano and global Black music culture and the partnership deal cements Hennessy’s role as a cultural partner and longtime supporter of Afro Nation’s mission to champion community, creativity and connection.

Hennessy has been an integral collaborator partner for Afro Nation globally from the beginning, creating bespoke experiences and curated moments that enhance the experience for the festivals predominantly African and diaspora crowds aligning with Afro Nation on previous shows in Ghana, Punta Cana and Notting Hill Carnival as well as Portugal.

Afro Nation Portugal 2026 is set to take place between 3-5th July 2026 at the stunning beach setting of Praia da Rocha Beach in Portimão, with artists including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Asake, Tyla, Uncle Waffles, Gunna, Kehlani, Ludmilla and R2Bees confirmed to perform.
